The future of music looks bleak at best.
But enough about the negative, because it's way overrated. The theme of 2011 is...that's right, Being (And Staying) Positive.
Time to hit that reset button on the gaming console that is life and work towards that "new you". Time to turn those resolutions into more than a pick-up line that you used at the party last night. And most of all, time to take a mulligan on that past year and actually follow-up through on something for once.
Got a goal? Get it done. Wanna drop 20 pounds? Put down the Sonic burger and chili fries and pick up some Wii Fit. Quitting smoking? Cold turkey never tasted so good. But all is for not, if there isn't a positive state of mind behind everything you strive 2011. No goal is unreachable and no obstacle is too large to overcome. I mean hey, two complete strangers made it through years of opposition and still came out on top. Why can't we all?
Nothing fights negativity like the "happy dance".
If you really want something for 2011, go get it. I sure will, and I invite all of you to join me...
(Besides, according to the Mayans and John Cusack, this is the last year we get, might as well go out fighting!)
Happy New Year from Hatmaker
